Clark scored his second of the night with nine minutes left to go in the first. The Wild quickly retaliated with Brenden Farrugia finding his way to the net to score one for the wild. Bobby Sayers didn’t wait long to put another one up for the Storm followed by Andrew Bobas, making it 4-1 after the first.
In the second the Wild didn’t waste any time, Matt Marchese netted one just 2 minutes into the period. The Wild continued to come on strong with Brandon Amirault making it a one goal game. The Storm decided to come out and play half way through period when Cam Edwards shook things up with a power play goal. With just 3 minutes left on the clock Andrew Bobas put up his second of the night, giving the Storm a 6-3 lead going into the third.
The Storm cemented their lead halfway through the third with Jeff Morris scoring his first goal of the night. Todd Munden followed just a few minutes later. The Storm came out on top with an 8-3 victory.
